In Automotive Photography, two things Koen is passionate about come together.
1: Photography: in terms of capturing the moment and atmosphere. This could be staged in a studio or fixed environment like a garage, or around automotive events or capturing characters and their workshop around interviews.
2: Automotive: since his youth, cars play a large role in the life of Koen. From playing with dinky-toys (Majorette was the favourite brand) to driving and enjoying automotive events. Did a lot of work on the classic mini back in the days at S+S tuning, and after many years of boring company lease cars now mainly driving youngtimers.
The below samples do not only show a mixture of cars and shooting conditions, it also demonstrates different styles of pictures that can be achieved within the same shoot.
